Today I saw your photograph,
I smiled to see your face,
I looked upon your countenance
And my heart started to race
Your eyes still have that sparkle,
A slight mischievous glint,
They still can pierce my soul
And upon my heart imprint:
A memory or a song,
Or a new styled sonnet,
A poem to recite
As the sun would slowly set.
Today I saw your photograph,
It warmed my heart anew;
It brought back many memories
Of moments ‘tween me and you.
